I had originally intended this to be a travel blog but so much has changed in the past year that I cannot simply base this on my travels.
Now one thing that I have read about blogging is you need to have a niche, so I'll be blogging about pop culture, fashion and the current state of society. But before I get into that there are a few things you should know about me. I was born in Australia but moved to the US and Canada in May 2011. The past 3 months that I've been away from home I've been on the road constantly living the gypsy lifestyle, I always thought that it would be fun to travel around moving from city to city, not being tied to any one particular place. While I will admit it has been fun exploring different cities, living out of a suitcase is not. However this is all about to change, as of September I'll be based out of Utah for at least one year while my partner finishes University.
I'm sure most people are wondering what I'm doing traveling around the US state to state, well that would be a blog in itself. In short, I met this Canadian guy who was participating in a working holiday in Australia and he asked me out on a date. Things progressed quickly from there and before we knew it his visa for Australia was about to expire. By this time it's needless to say that I had fallen head over heels and I was faced with this huge life changing decision. Leave my career, my family, friends and my comfort zone for this wonderful person who I'd only known for 6 months or let him walk out of my life. I know that I made the right decision even if it means not having a stable living arrangement. Who needs stability anyway.. Right?
